Activities to support adults to gain a range of life skills to support them in adulthood and as a parent, e.g., managing their home.
These activities could focus on either a specific skills set or a more general a range of skills. This should be proactive, and parents should leave with identifiable new skills and have been signposted to relevant further/higher education or skills development courses as appropriate.
In the past we have run courses on a range of topics such as Personal Development, Volunteer Training, Working with Children.
Innovative ideas are welcomed if there is evidence to show that they work!
Preference in all areas will be given to those organisations able to
clearly demonstrate that their service: –
• is targeting specific and identified need in specific areas within Bromley; and
• is not duplicating statutory provision but is providing additionality
