The Contracting Authority are seeking a supplier who can provide them with accurate classified road traffic counts across the whole of the GB road network, on a scale sufficient to enable the Department to construct:
• Robust statistics on all road traffic by country and region, broken down by vehicle type and road type.
• Junction-to-junction road link traffic figures for Great Britain’s motorway and ‘A’ road network.
• Local authority level estimates of traffic on minor roads (‘B’, ‘C’ and Unclassified roads), broken down by vehicle type and road type.
