The contract is for the storage of up to 17, 5 car Class 810 vehicles prior to entry into service. As the vehicles enter into service the storage will then be required for a 5/7 car Class 222 vehicle to support the fleet cascade plan as they exit operational services.
Split into 2 lots, Lot 1 warm storage of Class 810 Vehicles, Lot 2 is for cold storage of Class 222 Vehicles.
