Choice Housing Ireland Limited wish to appoint a main contractor to undertake remedial works to the retaining wall at Glen Road Heights, Belfast, Phase 1.
The wall was included as part of the most recent contract to complete 92 units on this scheme. As a result of unforeseen ground conditions the retaining wall constructed has failed structurally. Given the significant site complexities, the strategy has now become to cut the failed piles and form a stable boundary as had been present prior to commencement of the wider scheme construction contract.
