Powys County Council is seeking to engage with the Market to inform its strategic commissioning and redesign of its 12 Residential Care Homes and one – 12 bedded reablement unit. The need for appropriate older persons’ accommodation in Powys is changing. The projected demographic change in Powys will see increased demand for specialist dementia care and nursing care. We need to ensure Powys’ strategic objectives for transforming care services and indeed the national strategic objectives can be met by the Council.
