NHS HAMPSHIRE AND THE ISLE OF WIGHT INTEGRATED CARE BOARD
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB would welcome bids for the delivery of dental treatment to patients who reside in a Hampshire or Isle of Wight postcode, have a valid exemption from paying for dental treatment or have a health inequality, which includes but not limited to:
Clinically Vulnerable
Care Home Resident
Patients are unable to afford care
Veterans/ Families of Armed forces personnel
Asylum Seekers / Refugees
Expectant and nursing mothers
Homeless
or are in the following cohorts who do not have a dentist, NHS or private:
Children
Those in need of urgent care either through referral from 111 or known to the service.
The service will primarily use mobile dental units to deliver the service and several units will be required to deliver the annual clinic target. The mobile dental service will operate several mobile dental units across several clinic sites per month. The provide must have adequate mobile dental units of the required standard, skilled workforce and operational infrastructure to support this.
