Hampshire County Council is inviting feedback from suppliers of Community Equipment to inform future procurement strategies that support independent living. This engagement aims to ensure the continued provision of high-quality, cost-effective equipment that meets both health and social care needs across Hampshire.
Key Objectives of the Engagement:
• Explore available procurement models for community equipment.
• Identify challenges associated with current approaches, including Framework Agreements.
• Understand supplier capabilities in delivery, logistics, and service provision.
• Strengthen collaboration between suppliers and commissioning teams.
Currently, the Council’s Community Equipment Service procures approximately 35,000 items annually. Supplier insights will be instrumental in shaping a procurement approach that is innovative, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of Hampshire residents.
