Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a contractor for Etruscan Square Land Remediation to
Phase 1 & 2 Etruscan Square is undergoing an extensive regeneration project within Hanley
City Centre, with Phase 1 and Phase 2 area covering the former low-level car park off Birch
Terrace and Lichfield Car Park. These land remediation works will include appropriate Coal
Mining Risk treatment to Phase 1 and Assessments for the Phase 2 area to inform the
anticipated treatment works, along with Phase II Ground Investigation works to define the
extent of the historical coal mining, with general ground investigation in regards to
