The LIBRTI project aims to pave the way for fusion powerplant-scale tritium breeding through the exposure and study of experiment ‘mock-ups’ to a neutron source within the LIBRTI facility. A visual monitoring system, covering installation and configuration of the area during operational preparation, will support facility operations. This is also intended to monitor experimental campaigns, including movement, sound and temperature, where the equipment will be exposed to neutrons and gamma radiation. UKAEA is seeking a Feasibility Study and pre-conceptual design for Vision and Audible Monitoring Systems to monitor installations and campaigns inside the LIBRTI facility.
