Hampshire & IOW Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (H&IOW) is issuing this pre‑procurement notice to inform the market of a forthcoming procurement relating to maintenance and reactive call‑out services for gas and electrical catering equipment across its estate.
The Trust intends to contract for planned preventative maintenance and reactive call‑outs for a range of equipment models. Current contracts are due to expire in January 2027, and the Trust intends to tender Summer 2026. The Trust’s estate spans a wide geographical area across Hampshire and includes a diverse portfolio of clinical and non‑clinical services. Sites range from outpatient and community facilities through to acute hospital settings with inpatient wards. Assets subject to the contract are primarily located within main hospital kitchens.

High‑quality service delivery and operational effectiveness
Maintaining assets in optimal working condition
Accurate asset identification, verification, and record management
Achieving high first‑time fix rates supported by appropriate stock holding
Effective reporting and performance monitoring
