Clare joined BWL as a Senior Bid Writer in 2021 and has since progressed to Bid and Commercial Manager. She is a great asset to the team, providing bid writing and management services for our clients and delivering added value wherever possible. Her bidding experience includes working with Clients to win facilities management and building maintenance service contracts in a range of sectors including local and central government, healthcare, commercial, higher education, and utilities.

Clare’s qualifications and level of experience enable her to:

• Craft high-quality tender submissions which highlight the Client’s strengths and win themes in alignment with the Customers’ specific requirements.
• Coordinate input from management, technical, and operational SMEs to source key information and produce bid responses that adhere to the tender’s requirements and align with the highest scoring evaluation criteria.
• Proofread and edit bids to the finest detail, ensuring final submissions are professionally presented in accordance with the tender instructions and requirements.

Clare also proactively supports our Commercial Business Director with business development, identifying tender opportunities for potential new clients and our existing client base. In particular, she has significantly increased our client base within hard and soft facilities management industries over the past few years.
