Bid Writing Success for Environmental Consultancy in the North West
We recently supported a client to develop a comprehensive tender submission to deliver asbestos management services to a local housing association.
Our Senior Bid Consultant worked closely with the client’s team to develop a robust bid plan and detailed responses for each technical question in line with the scoring criteria. Key areas of focus included:
- Technical ability
- Resources and capability
- Accreditations and quality assurance
- Health and safety management
- Customer service and meeting KPIs
Each question required input from several stakeholders within the client’s organisation, including the client’s operations team, quality team, and health and safety manager.
Our consultant managed the bid from start to finish and provided guidance and advice to the client on how to best approach the questions to ensure high scores could be achieved.
Detailed information and evidence were included in all responses to ensure the client’s strengths and win themes were embedded into the submission and clearly highlighted that they had the capability to meet the tendering organisation’s requirements.

PQQ Success for Flow Monitoring Client
We also supported a Midlands-based client develop a robust pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) response for a multi-lot flow monitoring contract.
Our professional bid writers began by conducting a full review of the PQQ scope and requirements, creating a clear bid plan and response storyboards. Collaborating with subject matter experts within the client’s team, we extracted relevant information to address more than 50 detailed questions, including:
- Financial capability
- Health and safety compliance
- Environmental and human rights policies
- Information security standards
- Technical capability and experience
The responses highlighted our client’s qualifications, resources, management systems, and technologies, assuring their suitability to deliver the monitoring works. Every response was drafted and then reviewed by subject matter experts before submission.
Our client received notification of their success this month and we are working with them to craft a compelling ITT submission to secure the contract.
